Works with your assistant

Connect your AI to your degree plan.

Your assistant can read the plan you built here and answer questions about your actual degree — what's left, what you can take next term, what happens if you drop something. It takes about a minute to set up and there is nothing to install.

  1. Sign in to LionsDegree

    Use the Google or Microsoft button with your Penn State account. Your assistant reads your plan from your account, so it needs to know which plan is yours.

  2. Copy your connection link

    This is the address your assistant uses to reach your plan. It is the same for everyone — signing in is what makes it yours.

  3. Paste it into your assistant's settings

    Every assistant words this slightly differently. Look for whichever of these it uses:

    • Claude — Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
    • ChatGPT — Settings, then Connectors, then Add.
    • Something else — look for "Connectors", "Integrations", or "MCP". Paste the link into the address or URL box.

  4. Approve the connection

    Your assistant will open a LionsDegree page asking whether to let it read your plan. Say yes and you're connected. You can disconnect from the same settings screen at any time.

Then ask it something

Once it's connected, these all work:

Your assistant can change your plan when you ask it to. It will not remove a course your degree requires unless you tell it to in your own words.
